Yurt

I discovered some special looking tents around the lake some weeks ago. A sign told that there would be an event for kids the next day, so I went there in the hope that I would get to peek inside.
The people there were closing down for the day, but I was allowed to take a few pictures. As I did so, I talked to the owner of the tents. They were Mongolian tents, and the nomads live in them all year. Inside there was a calm atmosphere, and even though it was sparsely furnished, it was really cozy.

Elephants and camels

This autumn there were elephants and camels walking around nearby, as a circus was in town. One of the elephants was teased by the camels, and so the other elephants chased them away with a roar. I swear it sounded more like lions! Afterwards they stood by the unlucky one to cuddle and comfort it. It was a pretty neat sight.
